With an extensive history in the medical industry, Sourabh has fine-tuned the daily operations and fundamental strategies of Altus Baytown Hospital to reflect the company’s dedication to customer service in the Baytown community. He has been a dynamic force in the overall growth and success of Altus Baytown Hospital. Under Sourabh’s compelling leadership, Altus Baytown Hospital will continue to grow and provide superior services to the Baytown and nearby communities. In his free time, Sourabh enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Sourabh received two Bachelor degrees, one in Business Administration and the other in Computer Information Systems, in 2001 from Houston Baptist University. He received his first Master’s Degree in Health Administration from HBU in 2003 and later received another Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston in 2004.
As senior vice president and administrative director of Altus Hospitals, Sourabh Sanduja oversees daily operations and fundamental strategies of Altus Baytown Hospital. Under his leadership, the hospital has seen tremendous growth and success. Since joining Altus in 2005, Mr. Sanduja has worked to facilitate daily operational activities for the startup of the company’s ambulatory surgery center, imaging facility, and sleep lab. He directs staff to provide safe and quality patient care, recruits physicians within a range of multiple specialties, negotiates in-network contracts with various payers, markets and manages finances for the hospital system, and works with various attorneys for private insurance cases. Before coming on board with Altus, he served as the clinic administrator for Medinet Family Care Clinic in Houston and as the billing and collections manager for the Houston Ear Nose & Throat Clinic. He holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and computer information systems and a master’s degree in health administration from Houston Baptist University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston. Mr. Sanduja is the recipient of numerous industry and academic commendations and awards, including several awards from Texas A&M’s Mays School of Business for managed entities. He is an active member of the Patient Choice Coalition of Texas.
